Tim Burton’s gothic imagination collides with The Cure’s iconic sound in this immersive musical journey. Fronted by Rusty Wilmot’s uncanny channeling of Robert Smith, a live 10-member cast brings two very different worlds to life: the moody, electrifying Halloween Town, and the warm, whimsical Christmas Town. Elaborate costumes, Burton-inspired makeup, and immersive video transform the stage into a holiday experience unlike any other.

Lovesong The Cure Tribute presents The Nightmare Before Curemas — a two-act spectacle that fuses the eerie charm of Tim Burton’s A Nightmare Before Christmas with the dark allure of goth and alternative music. Part concert, part theater, it’s a celebration of pop culture, the holiday season, and the transformative power of imagination.

The show unfolds across two contrasting worlds. Halloween Town opens the night dark and electric — The Cure’s “A Forest,” Echo & The Bunnymen’s “Killing Moon,” Nine Inch Nails’ “Head Like a Hole,” and the Misfits’ “Halloween” build to an atmosphere where fantasy and reality blur. A curated intermission video carries the audience into Christmas Town, where the mood turns warm and nostalgic: Depeche Mode’s “Personal Jesus,” a goth-tinged take on Wham!’s “Last Christmas,” and Cure staples “Just Like Heaven” and “Friday I’m in Love.”

Every song is staged, not just played — intricate makeup, elaborate costumes, and immersive video design turn the room into a Tim Burton-inspired world where the holidays get reimagined through a goth and alternative lens.
